Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I figured out why the piece was forbidden: error message (i just posted it).

oops!
I thought we had a "centering thingy" and I cannot find it if we do but - I had - [.center] [./center] and hence - the error message.

Uhm, I doubt very strongly that the Asshelmets page is set to transmit 403s when someone types faulty codes.

Forbidden is a Standard HTTP Access code. It means that the page or site has been configured not to allow access via normal HTML-requests. For instance, someone has an image-map on his site. Normally typing index.html on that map makes the browser generate a kind of fake-index to show the images, but he can configure it so that anybody that does not request an image directly gets rejected as Forbidden
