You buy into the anthropogenic gullible warming hoax, you might as well just go ahead and throw in with the Malthusians and Luddites and be done with it.

I'm not a luddite, nor a malthusian, any realist can see that humanity is horribly self destructive, disastrously short sighted, and selfish to boot. Doesn't take much extrapolation to figure out that we'll either be wiped out by these shortcomings, or by something unexpected.. but neither without pretty much fucking up the very thing that allowed us to get so advanced.

Right...And I suppose all of those shortcomings of mankind don't apply to you and other leftist authoritarian nanny douchebags, who need to impose upon the rest of us what's "for our own good", by force if necessary.

Well if we're gonna get wiped out no matter what we do, I vote to eat dessert first.

Well, I'm of the opinion that if we could possibly avoid screwing things up for our kids, and their kids, and so on, it might be worth making a few sacrifices.

I don't recall advocating much in the way of authoritarian measures, but you've already been building strawmen all over the place, don't let me stop you now.

What do you advocate, besides whining?

Much better use of natural resources, sustainability instead of convenience as a driving force behind technology advances, reuse instead of refuse, subsidies for companies creating more efficient technologies instead of for people not growing corn (or other foodstuff), etc etc.

Which people here do you see not advocating that?

Uh-huh...You say "we" need to make some "sacrifices", yet aren't advocating any authoritarian measures.

Just who do you propose it may be that will be making the decisions as to what those "sacrifices" might be, and the means by which they are to be made?

Strawmen indeed.
